Early morning flight to Izmir. Upon arrival, your guide will meet you at the Izmir Airport just outside the arrivals gate, holding a sign with your name.
We will first Church of Thyatira, now called Akhisar, another of the Seven Churches of Asia Minor [Rev. 1:11; 2:18 - 24; Acts 16:14]. Paul's sermons in the Philippi city of Macedonia mention Akhisar (Thyatira) and the church there. He describes Thyatira as the hometown of a wealthy purple dye merchant named Lydia, who worshipped God. (Acts 16:14)
Afterwards, we will drive to Pergamon (Bergama) and have lunch at a local restaurant.
In Pergamon, we will visit the Acropolis of Pergamon, which sits atop a 1000-foot windswept mountain, offering a view of the neighbouring modern towns and the Theatre of Pergamon, the steepest theatre of the ancient world. Revelation 2:12-16 describes the city as “The Seat of Satan”, a reference to the altar of Zeus, where we will pause for reflection on the fulfilment of Scripture. According to the story, the church in Pergamon (2:1217) existed in the place where Satan had his throne. We’ll visit the Red Basilica, Asklepion ( extra ), the famous medical centre of antiquity. Dinner and overnight in Izmir. (Breakfast – Lunch)
After breakfast, we will start our sightseeing tour in Izmir. First, we will Smyrna is the second city of the Seven Churches in the Book of Revelation to receive the message from St. John, “Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life” (Rev 2:10). We will continue with Salihli city (Sardis). This was the capital of the ancient Lydian kingdom of the 6th century B.C., portrayed as a dying church. We visit the great Temple of Artemis and the Temple of Cybele, which was converted into a Byzantine Church. We will also see the restored Sardis Gymnasium and reconstructed Synagogue. After our visit, we’ll have lunch at a local restaurant en route. Then we continue our journey to Philadelphia, nowadays called Alasehir, one of the Seven Churches of Asia [Rev. 1:11; 3:7], and the only church that wasn’t censored. There, we will see the remains of a Byzantine basilica built of brick, with a high arch and 11th-century frescoes.
After our tour, we will drive to Pamukkale. Dinner and overnight in a thermal hotel in Pamukkale. ( Breakfast - Lunch - Dinner )
After breakfast, we’ll start our tour in Pamukkale. We’ll head to Hierapolis and visit the Martyrium of the Apostle Philip, where he was martyred during the persecutions ordered by Domitian. We will see the Gate of Domitian, the Arcadian Way, the ancient 2nd-century Roman Theater, the Nymphaion, the Temple of Apollo, the Plutonium, and the Necropolis. And in the end, we will have a relaxing walk in the thermal waters of white travertines.
We will have a lunch break at a local restaurant and depart for Laodicea (present name Denizli), yet another of the Seven Churches of Asia Minor [Rev. 1:11; 3:14; Col. 2:1; 4:13 - 16]. Here, we’ll see the ancient theatre, the remains of the basilica, and ancient stone water pipes.
Our next stop is the ancient city of Aphrodisias, one of Turkey's most important archaeological sites of the Greek and Roman periods. The town's name is derived from the goddess of love, Aphrodite – called Venus by Romans, who has her famous sanctuary here. We will see the Odeon (Concert-hall) with its extraordinary blue marble stage, the Temple of Aphrodite that marks the site of ancient veneration, Hadrian’s Bath, and the Bishop’s Palace, part of a building christened by the archaeologists. Afterwards, we will drive to Kuşadası (approx. 2,5 hrs).

We’ll start our tour after breakfast and head for Ephesus ancient city. WORLD HERITAGE list. The Church of Ephesus is the most important of the Seven Churches of Asia Minor. It is thought that the Gospel of John was written here. Visit the Basilica of St. John. Apostle Paul preached to the Ephesians and lived here for three years. The Church of Ephesus also received an epistle from him.
We will walk around the spectacular ruins where excavations continue in this once great and important city, founded in the 10th century B.C. We will walk through history along the marble streets lined with wonderful public buildings, including the Baths of Scholastica, the Library of Celsus, the Temple of Hadrian, and the Grand Theatre, with 25,000 seats.
We’ll have lunch at a local restaurant and then visit the Temple of Artemis, known as one of the seven wonders of the ancient world, and the Basilica of St. John.
Lastly, we will see the House of the Virgin Mary, a small, modest stone house located in the forest on the side of a mountain 9 km from Ephesus. It is the final abode of the Virgin Mary, where she spent her last years.

Kuşadası is one of the most popular tourist resorts in Turkey. After breakfast, you may explore Kuşadası in your free time until your transfer to Izmir Airport. You can visit the historical caravanserai, the beautiful local bazaar, or Kuşadası Castle.
