Arrival at Antalya Airport. Short transfer to your hotel in the center of Antalya, inside the old city walls.
Depending on your flight time, you will have time to stroll the cobbled streets, visit a Turkish bath or just relax in the cafes and bars before dinner time. We’ll have dinner at the famous Parlak Restaurant.
Overnight stay in Art Hotel in Antalya. ( Dinner )
After a relaxing breakfast in the courtyard of the hotel, our private bus will take us first to the site of Phaselis, where we’ll see 3 harbors, an aqueduct, and a bathhouse and have time for a swim in the crystal-clear sea, making a perfect start to your tour. It is known that Alexander the Great decided to spend a winter here during his journey to conquer the world. He chose a great spot!
Next, we’ll visit the great spring of Ulupınar, under the watchful gaze of Mount Olympus (Tahtalı Dağı). Here, we’ll have a tasty lunch of specialist Turkish mezes and fresh trout, farmed in the ice-cold spring water gushing through the rocks.
After lunch, we’ll begin our hike (approx. 9 km) on the Lycian Way, descending a valley where we’ll cross a stream and ascend to the first of the famous natural flames that have been burning through the rocks since ancient times. Known as the Chimera after the legendary monster that was slain here by Bellerophon and Pegasus, this natural phenomenon is one of the most famous sites of the Lycian Way. Descending the hill with sea views of the beach at Çıralı, we’ll make our way to the delightful beachside Odile Hotel, with a huge pool, however, the sea is so tempting we would recommend you to swim in the pool.

After breakfast, we’ll be walking straight from the hotel and passing by the local shops where you can buy your picnic and drinks for the day. Fording the stream, we’ll continue back to the beach and follow it to the entrance of the ancient site of Olympos. Once one of the most important Lycian cities, it was overrun by pirates in the 1st century BC and was badly damaged when it was liberated by Roman General Pompei the Great. From here, we’ll start our long climb to the pass of Mount Musa, where we’ll see a small ancient site called Phonekeios. From here, we’ll descend following a pretty stream valley to the plains of Adrasan, heavy with citrus trees. We’ll continue to either the River Hotel or the Deniz Hotel, located close to the fine sand beach
(Hiking approx. 16 km). Dinner and overnight in Adrasan hotel. ( Breakfast - Dinner )
After breakfast and buying our lunch for today’s hike, we’ll climb to a point above Adrasan, where we’ll leave all signs of human life behind us and follow the entire coastal trail, as far as the iconic lighthouse of Gelidonya. This lighthouse protects ships from washing up on the small islands that spot Cape Gelidonya, an infamous shipwreck site. We’ll then continue to the beautifully named cove of Melanippe, the daughter of a Centaur king, for the last swim before we take our private bus to Finike (Hiking approx. 19 km).
Dinner and overnight stay in Şimşek Hotel in Finike. ( Breakfast - Dinner )
After breakfast, we’ll drive on the twisty road to Demre where you can visit the site of Myra with its stunning theatre and also the church of St. Nicholas, where the Byzantine bishop was buried. St. Nicholas, as known as Santa Claus, was a Lycian cleric known for his gift-giving and miracle-working, as well as being a serious cleric who was present at the council of Nicea when the basic tenets of the Christian church were agreed upon under the emperor Constantine in 325 AD.
After buying lunch, we’ll make another short drive to Kapaklı Village where we’ll walk via the small city of Istlada, before following the beautifully indented coastline of the Kekova special environmental protected area, to the castle-topped village of Simena, one of the most picturesque villages in Turkey, which can be only reached by sea with no roads to the outside world. Here, we’ll get onto a boat and have a short boat trip to the Sunken City of Kekova ( Dolichiste ), with a final swim stop at Tersane Bay. Arriving at the Üçağiz village, we’ll transfer to the town of Kaş for our last night. (Hiking approx. 8.5 km)
