Istanbul Tour - 6 Days/5 Nights

Our representative will meet you at Istanbul Airport holding a sign with your name on it and transfer you to your hotel. You are free for the rest of the day. You may explore the streets of Istanbul at your own will. Accommodation in Istanbul hotel.

(08:30-16:30) Our guide will meet you at your hotel’s lobby at 08:30 and we’ll start the tour of the day. First, we’ll visit the Blue Mosque, also known as Sultanahmet Mosque, built between the years 1609-1617 and best known for its 6 minarets and blue Iznik tiles that lend the mosque its name. Next, we’ll have a stroll around the Hippodrome Square where horse races took place and entertainment, sports, and political activities were organized during the Roman and Byzantine periods. Here, we will see the Serpent Column brought from Delphi ancent city in Greece, the Egyptian Obelisk, the German Fountain of Wilhelm ll, and the tombs of Ottoman sultans and princes. Afterward, we’ll visit Saint Sophia or Hagia Sophia, built by the emperor Justinian in 532 - 537. Designed and built as a church, Hagia Sophia was later converted into a mosque in the Ottoman period and become a museum afterward. Then, we’ll visit Topkapı Palace which served as the administrative center of the Ottoman Empire for over 400 years, from the 15th to the 19th centuries, and as the home of the Sultans and their families.
Afterward, we’ll have a lunch break at a local restaurant (Included). Finally, we’ll be visiting the Grand Bazaar, the oldest and largest covered bazaar in the world, made up of 61 covered streets. It is home to more than 4000 shops selling anything you can think of from carpets, jewelry, leather, and souvenirs to garments, bags, decorations, spices, and home textiles.

Today, we’ll start the tour of the day after breakfast at 08:30 and head for the Spice Bazaar, also known as the Egyptian Bazaar, which is a very colorful market with an oriental atmosphere that specializes in typical products such as spices, desserts, nuts, and small souvenirs. Next, we’ll drive to Golden Horn for a cruise along the Bosporus Strait which separates Europe and Asia and connects the Black Sea with the inland Marmara Sea. At the end of the cruise, Take Lunch in a Restaurant.

Camlica Hill is one of the highest points in Istanbul.  You can admire the magnificent panorama of the city and the Bosphorus and take beautiful pictures while having a drink in the cafe on the Çamlıca hill, which overlooks the whole city. Afterward, visit Beylerneyi Palace.

Today, we’ll see lots of places that will enlighten you and change the way you see Istanbul. We’ll start our tour by walking down the 450-year-old Mahmutpaşa Street and Tahtakale Bazaars, where we’ll get a chance to see the oriental marketing concepts and a lot of product varieties. Next, we’ll visit the Spice Bazaar, also known as Egyptian Bazaar, offering all kinds of spices, desserts, and dried fruits.
From here, we’ll take the public bus like a local to Balat where you can observe the peaceful coexistence of three religions (Islam, Christianity, and Hebrew) in one neighborhood in an authentic environment. This cosmopolitan district is home to many churches that belong to different branches of Christianity, synagogues, and mosques. The Ecumenical Patriarchate of Constantinople here is an important religious center for the Orthodox community.
Afterward, we’ll cross the historical Galata Bridge on foot to Karaköy. From here, we’ll catch a city line ferry for a trip to Kadıköy and arrive in the Asian side of Istanbul. In Kadıköy, you feel see another side of Istanbul full of young and modern people wandering in its bustling, colorful streets. After our walking tour, we’ll head back to the European side and go to Taksim Square. We’ll take the nostalgic tram down the street and get off at midway to visit Nevizade Street famous for its outdoor dining restaurants, taverns, and delicious mezes from Turkish and Greek cuisines. Afterward, we’ll make a stop at the French Street where you can try some savory domestic wines together with a rich variety of local cheeses. 
At the end of the tour, our guide will take you back to your hotel.

Feel free in Istanbul today and spend a day as you wish. If you wish, you can join the optional Princes Islands tour.

Optional Princes’ Islands Tour :  you’ll be picked up from your hotel at 08:00 and transferred to the pier for a trip to beautiful Princes’ Islands on the Marmara Sea. Büyükada, Heybeliada, and Kinaliada are wonderful summer resorts with their clean sea, beaches, greenery, neo-classical style historical mansions and unspoilt natures. We’ll have lunch at a local fish restaurant by the sea (Included). If you wish, you can travel around the islands with electric vehicles or rent bicycles. We’ll take the ferry back to Istanbul at 17:00.

Cancellation Policy  

- For cancellations made 45 days before the tour, 100% refund. (Except per person 125 € for register, bank commission, and domestic flight ticket cost)
- For cancellations made 44 - 30 days before the tour, 50% refund. (Except for the Bank Commission)
- For cancellations made 29 - 15 days before the tour, 20 % refund.
- No refunds will be made on reservations made 14 days before the tour. %100 Penalty is applied.

Remarks
- Travel health insurance is mandatory.
- Sample hotels are confirmed on the date of booking in case of availability. Otherwise,
  similar hotels are booked.  
- In the event of bad weather, time scarcity, traffic jams, and similar situations, the Guide may make changes to the tour program. 
- The locations given in the itinerary can be changed with other places if they are closed.  
- During the tours, you will be walking approximately 2 km every day on uneven and
   cobblestone surfaces, inclines, and steps. 
- You must wear comfortable clothing, flat walking shoes, a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen. in summer months and raincoats, warm clothes, winter walking shoes, umbrella, etc. in winter.  
- The order of the sites visited may change to avoid crowds.  
- You will need your passport at check-in for all domestic flights.

Regular Group Tours are English-guided package tours with mixed nationalities of a minimum of 20 people and a maximum of 40 people on the specified dates. Regular Group tour prices are fixed.
There is a child age restriction based on the character of the tour and generally, children under 8 years of age cannot participate.
Private Tours, on the other hand, is between 1 person and 40 people. It usually consists of small and private groups such as Families, groups of friends, or professional groups. No other travelers are allowed in Private groups. In private tours, the guide is given according to the group's request (available in Turkey) 
Guaranty Departure Tours have a definite departure regardless of the number of people on certain dates. 
The minimum and the maximum number of people and child age requirements are specified in the tour information.

The number of tour places varies according to the theme of the tour. Group tours are a minimum of 20 people - a maximum of 40 people. There is no limit on the number of private tours, usually between 1 and 18 people.

You can bring clothes and auxiliary items according to Turkey Tour regions and Tour season. During the winter seasons, you should bring thick and cold protective clothing and rain protective clothing.

If you want to use your own country's GSM operator in Turkey, you should ask your GSM operator to activate the international roaming function of your mobile phone before coming to Turkey. Or you can get a new SIM (Subscriber Identity Module) card from one of the local GSM operators such as Türk Telekom, Vodafone, to use while you are in Turkey.

Foreigners in Turkey can drive in Turkey, provided that they always have their passports, international driving licenses, and their car licenses with them. It is legally forbidden to drink and drive and there are penalties. In Turkey, the vehicle is driven on the right side of the road.
