Istanbul & Cappadocia Tour - 5 Days/4 Nights

Arrival in Istanbul and transfer to hotel. After check-in, you will have free time to discover Istanbul by yourself. Overnight in Istanbul hotel.

After breakfast, you will meet your tour guide and start discovering the Byzantine and Ottoman treasures of Istanbul. First, we will visit St. Sofia (Hagia Sofia), which was built by the emperor Justinian in the 6th century AD as a church and was later converted into a mosque after the fall of Constantinople in 1453. We will stroll the historical Hippodrome Square, which was used as a meeting place and for chariot races during the Byzantine period. Here, we will see the Serpent Column brought from Delphi and the Egyptian Obelisk. Next, we will visit the Blue Mosque, also known as the Sultanahmet Mosque, with its blue Iznik tiles and unique six minarets. Afterward, we will visit the Topkapı Palace which was the residence of the Ottoman sultans, to see its fabulous treasure chambers. We’ll continue with the Grand Bazaar known as the biggest “souk” in the world. 
End of the tour drop to hotel overnight in Istanbul (Breakfast - Lunch)

Early flight from Istanbul Airport to Kayseri or Nevşehir airport. Transfer to hotel and early check-in. After breakfast, we’ll start our Cappadocia tour.   
Cappadocia is one of the most extraordinary places in the world with its fantastic fairy chimneys. It is also famous for its arts and crafts such as ceramics and hand-woven carpets.
First, we will visit the Uçhisar Castle, which consists of volcanic rocks, and is the highest point of Cappadocia. From here, we will watch the fairy chimneys, valleys, and the wonderful view of the region. Next, we will visit the Pigeon Valley, and have a sightseeing tour of Göreme Village which has very interesting cave houses and an authentic atmosphere. Then, we’ll visit the Love Valley an extraordinary place for walking and photographing.  Afterward, we’ll have lunch in Avanos. After lunch, we’ll visit a pottery workshop to see how potteries are made by hand.
Next, we’ll visit Paşabağı Valley (Monks Valley) and Devrent Valley, famous for its rock formations resembling different animal figures. Most of these formations have distinctive shapes such as large camels, seals, and dolphins. Afterward, we will visit a typical carpet workshop to learn this traditional Turkish art and its origins from the silk route.
We’ll complete our tour by watching a wonderful Whirling Dervishes Show accompanied by authentic Mevlevi music.

The first stop of our tour today is Mustafapaşa Village, an old Greek town that was home to Orthodox Christians. Here, you will see madrasahs, churches, Greek mansions, and many other buildings dating back centuries. Next, we will visit Kaymaklı Underground City which is believed to be the oldest underground city of Cappadocia. It is estimated that people have been living inside the houses built in the rocks here since the Paleolithic Period. However, we know that they were mostly used for protection against Roman, Persian, and Arab attacks throughout history. They were also used as storehouses. You will be amazed to see how people lived in these underground cities with endless narrow tunnels and stairs.
We’ll complete our tour by watching a wonderful Whirling Dervishes Show accompanied by authentic Mevlevi music.

- For cancellations made 30 days before the tour, 100% refund. ( Except for the % 15 Service Charge, Flight ticket, mandatory expenses, and Bank Commission,)
- For cancellations made 29 - 15 days before the tour, 50% refund. (Except for the Bank Commission, and mandatory expenses )
- For cancellations made 14 – 11 days before the tour, 30% refund.
- No refunds will be made on reservations made 10 days before the tour. %100 Penalty is applied.

- In the event of bad weather, time scarcity, traffic jams, and similar situations, the Guide may make changes to the tour program. 
- The locations given in the itinerary can be changed with other places if they are closed.  
- During the tours, you will be walking approximately 2 km every day on uneven and
   cobblestone surfaces, inclines, and steps. 
- You must wear comfortable clothing, flat walking shoes, a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen. in summer months and raincoats, warm clothes, winter walking shoes, umbrella, etc. in winter.  
- The order of the sites visited may change to avoid crowds.  
- You will need your passport at check-in for all domestic flights.

Regular Group Tours are English-guided package tours with mixed nationalities of a minimum of 20 people and a maximum of 40 people on the specified dates. Regular Group tour prices are fixed.
There is a child age restriction based on the character of the tour and generally, children under 8 years of age cannot participate.
Private Tours, on the other hand, is between 1 person and 40 people. It usually consists of small and private groups such as Families, groups of friends, or professional groups. No other travelers are allowed in Private groups. In private tours, the guide is given according to the group's request (available in Turkey) 
Guaranty Departure Tours have a definite departure regardless of the number of people on certain dates. 
The minimum and the maximum number of people and child age requirements are specified in the tour information.

The number of tour places varies according to the theme of the tour. Group tours are a minimum of 20 people - a maximum of 40 people. There is no limit on the number of private tours, usually between 1 and 18 people.

You can bring clothes and auxiliary items according to Turkey Tour regions and Tour season. During the winter seasons, you should bring thick and cold protective clothing and rain protective clothing.
