It comes after Mecca, Medina, and Jerusalem in faith tourism.

In Şanlıurfa, which stands out with its cultural values as well as religious tourism, the most popular attraction is Balıklıgöl, the place where Prophet Abraham, who is identified with the city and is considered the ancestor of three divine religions, was born and where he was thrown into the fire.

There are many ancient temple ruins in the Taş Tepeler region, where Göbeklitepe is located.
