Cappadocia Tour - 5 Days/4 Nights

Arrival at Kayseri or Nevşehir Airport, followed by a transfer to the hotel. After check-in, depending on your arrival time, you can participate in one of the adventure activities, such as ATV Quad Sunset View Safari, for 2 hours in the afternoon. 16.00 – 17:00 Accommodation in Cappadocia

Hot Air Balloon Tour (optional) 04:30 - 09:00 Experience the privilege of watching the magnificent sunrise view of Cappadocia from the sky in the Hot Air Balloon basket.  After breakfast, start the day tour and visit Uchisar.

Uçhisar is situated on the highest hill in Cappadocia. The flow of volcanic lava shapes Uchisar Castle. From the Uçhisar viewpoint, you can see the outstanding natural beauty of Pigeon Valley and the pigeons' nests carved into the rocks.
Pigeon Valley is named after the wild pigeons that live in the region, nesting in the volcanic rocks. The farmers in the region carve these rocks into unique nests for pigeons, then collect the pigeon manure and use it in agriculture.

The Göreme Open-air Museum, a UNESCO World Heritage site, features rock-cut churches and monastic complexes. The Göreme Open-Air Museum is home to striking fairy chimneys, grand monasteries, and chapels, including the Apple Church, Snake Church, and Saint Barbara Church. You will see the scenery and figures from the Old and New Testaments on well-preserved frescoes from the iconoclastic period.
We have a lunch break at a local restaurant in Avanos.
Avanos is situated on the banks of the Kızılırmak River and is renowned for producing pottery and ceramics from the red clay mud extracted from the river since the Hittite era to the present day. Visit a ceramics workshop and experience the art of ceramic making by master potters on a spinning wheel.
Paşabağı Valley is home to the most magnificent fairy chimneys of Cappadocia. Paşabağı fairy chimneys, located in a specially protected area, can be reached by walking 300 meters from the entrance gate. Some of the mushroom-shaped rock formations here are several meters high. Fairy chimneys, shaped by erosion over many years, were used as homes by various religious groups. Therefore, it is also known as the Monks Valley.
Devrent Valley is renowned for its rock formations that resemble various animal figures. You can see the camel easily, but you may need to use your imagination to see others, such as dolphins, seals, Napoleon's hat, kissing birds, the Virgin Mary, and various reptilian forms.
Overnight stay in Cappadocia. (Breakfast )

Today, we'll explore some of the most spectacular sights in southern Cappadocia, including the Kaymaklı Underground City, Ihlara Valley, Belisirma Village, and Selime Monastery. The tour starts at 9:00 a.m. sharp after breakfast.
Kaymakli Underground City is one of Cappadocia’s most fascinating subterranean cities. Explore its tunnels, living quarters, storage rooms, and ventilation systems, which early Christians used for shelter. These underground cities in Cappadocia were used as defences against attacks from the Romans, Persians, and Arabs, as storehouses and for living.
Ihlara Valley is one of the largest canyons in the world, spanning 14 kilometres in length, with depths of up to 120 metres, and featuring a diverse array of habitats. Also, it is a popular trekking route. The Ihlara Canyon differs from other canyons worldwide because it is one of the most important centres of culture and civilisation.   It is a historical site that once housed a monastic community between the 4th and 13th centuries AD, with a thousand dwellings, a hundred hidden cave churches decorated with frescoes, and houses.

After exploring the Ihlara Valley, we'll make our way to Belisirma Village, a charming Anatolian village where we'll stop for lunch at a local restaurant.
Selime Monastery is the most essential rock religious structure in Cappadocia. This Monastery is a glorious, large religious complex featuring monks' rooms, a spacious kitchen, towering chimneys, educational and worship spaces, living quarters, and even a barn for animals. In the middle of the Selime Monastery, the rock-carved church has worn-out, faded but impressive frescoes on its ceiling and walls.
We have a shopping break for Cappadocia Souvenirs for you and your friends on the way.
Overnight stay in Cappadocia.  (Breakfast)

Our route today is perfect for those who want to get to know the people of Cappadocia up close. An exploration that extends from the fantastic fairy chimneys of Love Valley to the timeless rock village houses of Çavuşin, and the multicultural history that echoes in the stone streets of Mustafapaşa.
Love Valley derives its name from its romantic landscape and the unusually shaped fairy chimneys that characterise it. During a short walk in the valley, these unique geological structures, formed by nature over millions of years through wind and rain, offer visitors the opportunity to take excellent photographs and indulge in their imagination.
Cavusin Village is like an open-air archaeological site, bearing traces of the region's rich history of religion and settlement. Wander among abandoned houses carved into the rocks, narrow streets and old churches hidden in the hillsides. Cavusin Church is an impressive structure that sheds light on the early Christian architecture of the region.

Discover the local flavours during a lunch break at a local restaurant. Testi kebab, pottery yoghurt, and olive oil dishes, specific to Cappadocia, appeal not only to the palate but also to the soul.

Mustafa Paşa Village: Our afternoon route extends to Mustafa Paşa Village, formerly known as Sinasos. Carrying the Greek heritage of Cappadocia, this village retains its elegance to this day, with mansions, churches, and narrow streets adorned with intricate stonework. The Konstantin-Eleni Church, along with its secret passages and old houses decorated with elaborate stonework, bears witness to the village's multicultural past.
A coffee break at the small cafes in the Mustafa Paşa village square offers you the opportunity to both rest and communicate with the locals.
At the end of the tour, when you leave the magical geography of Cappadocia, what remains behind are not only photographs but also ancient stories engraved in the stones and memories adorned with the whispers of nature. The wind of the Love Valley, the silence of Çavuşin and the past permeated into the stone walls of Mustafapaşa…
