Cappadocia Red Tour Itinerary
The Cappadocia Red tour begins with a meeting with our guide at the hotel from 9:30 to 10:00 a.m. (Usually at the end of the balloon tour) Afterwards, we will visit the most popular places in Cappadocia, as if we were travelling in a fairy tale world. First visit Uchisar Castle
Uchisar Castle
First, we will visit the Uçhisar Castle, situated on the highest hill of Cappadocia, which was shaped by flowing volcanic lava. At Uchisar Castle, you learn from your guide how this fantastic landscape came into existence. After visiting the Uchisar Castle panorama, we will proceed to the Pigeon Valley and the Göreme Open-Air Museum.
Pigeon Valley
Pigeon Valley is named after the wild pigeons that inhabit the region and build nests in the volcanic rocks. Farmers in the area carve these rocks and make special nests for the pigeons. Then, they collect the accumulated pigeon manure and use it in agriculture.
Pigeon Valley, Cappadocia, has a spiritually relaxing and peaceful effect on visitors due to its magnificent view, which can be seen from many places.
Göreme Open Air Museum

The Göreme Open-Air Museum is home to striking fairy chimneys, grand monasteries, and chapels, including the Dark Church, Apple Church, Snake Church, and Saint Barbara Church. You will see the scenery and figures from the Old and New Testaments on well-preserved frescoes from the iconoclastic period at Göreme Open-Air Museum, Cappadocia, Turkey. The entry fee for the Göreme open-air museum is announced by the Turkish Tourism Ministry each year.
Pasabagi Valley
Paşabağı Valley is home to the most magnificent fairy chimneys of Cappadocia. Paşabağı fairy chimneys, located in a specially protected area, can be reached by walking 300 meters from the entrance gate. Some of the mushroom-shaped rock formations here are several meters high. Fairy chimneys, shaped by erosion over many years, were used as homes by various religious groups. Therefore, it is also known as the Monks Valley.
Devrent Valley
Devrent Valley is renowned for its rock formations that resemble various animal figures. You can see the camel easily, but you may need to use your imagination to see others, such as dolphins, seals, Napoleon's hat, kissing birds, the Virgin Mary, and various reptilian forms.
