We will continue with Salihli city (Sardis). This was the capital of the ancient Lydian kingdom of the 6th century B.C., portrayed as a dying church. We visit the great Temple of Artemis and the Temple of Cybele, which was converted into a Byzantine Church. We will also visit the restored Sardis Gymnasium and reconstructed Synagogue. After our visit, we’ll have lunch at a local restaurant en route. Then we continue our journey to Philadelphia, nowadays called Alaşehir, Philadelphia Church is one of the Seven Churches of Asia Minor.
Arrival to Pamukkale which means cotton castle due to its famous white travertines. In Hierapolis, we’ll see the Martyrium of Apostle Philip where he was martyred during the persecutions ordered by Domitian, ancient city ruins including the Gate of Domitian, the Arcadian Way, Grand Theatre, the Nymphaion, the Temple of Apollo, the Plutonium, and the Necropolis. Afterward, we’ll enjoy walking on the white travertines.
We will have lunch in a local restaurant. Free time in the thermal pool or the Ancient Cleopatra Pools (not included).

First, we will visit the Uçhisar Castle, which consists of volcanic rocks, and is the highest point of Cappadocia. From here, we will watch the fairy chimneys, valleys, and the wonderful view of the region. Next, we will visit the Pigeon Valley, and have a sightseeing tour of Goreme Village which has very interesting cave houses and an authentic atmosphere. Then, we’ll visit Goreme Open Air Museum, which is home to fantastic monasteries and chapels like the Dark Church, Apple Church, Snake Church, and Saint Barbara Church. You will see the sceneries and figures from the Old and New Testaments on well-preserved frescos from the iconoclastic period. Paşabağı Valley (Monks Valley), and Devrent Valley,famous for its rock formations resembling different animal figures Afterward, we’ll have lunch in Avanos. After lunch, we’ll visit a pottery workshop to see how potteries are made by hand.

Our tour will start after breakfast and the first stop of the day will be Mustafapaşa Village, an old Greek town formerly known as Sinasos, where Orthodox Greeks and Turks lived together until 1924. Here, we will observe the local life and see the authentic stone houses built by Sinasos architects. Afterward, we will visit the Keşlik Monastery. The frescoes inside the monastery will leave you fascinated. After examining these rare murals with our guide, we will continue with our next stop, Şahinefendi ( Sobesos ) excavation area. In the Şahinefendi Sabesos excavation area, you will see tombs, basilica, mosaic stones, and Roman baths. Soğanlı Valley is known as the third largest monk center in Cappadocia. You will see many churches while wandering in the valley. Note that, handmade dolls of the village women in Soğanlı Village are quite famous. Afterward, we will visit Kaymaklı Underground City which is believed to be the oldest underground city in Cappadocia. It is estimated that people have been living inside the houses built in the rocks since the Paleolithic Period. However, we know that they were mostly used for protection against Roman, Persian, and Arab attacks. They were also used as storehouses. You will be amazed to see how people lived in these underground cities with endless narrow tunnels and stairs. Finally, we’ll watch a wonderfulWhirling Dervishes performance accompanied by the authentic music of the Mevlevi. End of the tour and return to the hotel.

After breakfast we will visit the ancient Laodicea. One of the seven churches in the revelation is in Laodicea. Laodicea thrived as a major center of worship for the pagan goddess Aphrodite for about 500 years after Christ. Drive to Didiyma, and visit The Temple of Apollo.
Apollo Temple built in 600 BC here was a sacred religious center in ancient times. We will visit the temple that features magnificent marble columns. Take a lunch in a local restaurant. continue ancient Miletos ruins.
Miletos is one of the 12 Ionia cities on Asia minor. We will see the ancient theater with a capacity of 15,000, the Miletos Museum, the Temple of Serapis, and the Faustina Bath, built by Marcus Aurelius in the name of his wife. There is a 20 km-long sacred marble road between the Temple of Serapis in Miletos and the Temple of Apollo in Didim. Miletos people used to go to the temple of Apollo for pilgrimage and religious rituals through this holy path. Then, we will continue on our way towards Priene (20 km).
Priene, which was established 2500 years ago at the foot of the Mykale Mountain, was a port city at that time. There are many works of art and architecture belonging to the ancient Greek period such as the marble streets laying parallel to each other and water channels. The Priene Theater and the Temple of Athena Polias were built by Alexander the Great as a gift.

After breakfast departure to Ephesus from Kusadasi. ( 25 Km ) Greco-Roman city, the ancient capital of Asia Minor and one of the best-preserved from antiquity where the Temple of Hadrian, Temple of Trajan, the Grand Theater, and the Library of Celsus is located.
We take lunch break in a local restaurant. Afterward, visit the House of the Virgin Mary, where he spent the last years of her life. You will visit The Temple of Artemis, one of the Seven wonders in the world.
Shopping time in a leather fabric outlet center with fashion show. Visit Famous Sirince Village with the houses 300 – 400 years, and test delicious wine.
